led by faith. moved by love. restoring beauty inside out.

we believe every woman and child deserves to feel see, valued, and beautiful— even in their hardest seasons of life.

More than just a makeover…

At She Shines Again Project, we believe that true transformation begins within — and that every woman and child deserves the chance to see themselves as radiant, capable, and worthy, no matter what they’ve been through.

Founded by Chasity Valencia, She Shines Again was born from the understanding that confidence is not just about how we look — it’s about how we feel when we’re seen, valued, and cared for. Through free beauty, grooming, and self-care experiences, our mission is to help individuals rediscover the strength and light that life’s challenges may have dimmed.

Whether it’s a fresh haircut, a touch of makeup, or the gift of a “confidence kit,” each act of service is a reminder that healing can begin in small, tender moments — a smile in the mirror, a kind word, or a safe space filled with love and encouragement.

We partner with domestic-violence shelters, group homes, and youth programs across Las Vegas to bring not just makeovers, but moments of hope and belonging. Every stylist, volunteer, and supporter is part of a growing movement to remind women and children that they are seen, celebrated, and never alone.

We’re more than a beauty initiative — we’re a community of restoration. A place where broken pieces become purpose, and every person who walks through our doors leaves knowing:

She didn’t just shine again — she was shining all along.

rebuilding confidence.

  • Dream it.

Every dream starts with a moment of courage—we help women believe in their beauty again.

  • Build it.

Through kindness, care, and connection, CONFIDENCE begins to bloom again.

  • Grow it.

Healing is a journey—together, we nurture self-love and hope for what’s next.

the need in las vegas

In Las Vegas and across Clark County, the need for compassion and confidence restoration is greater than ever. On any given night, more than 6,500 individuals experience homelessness, and over 16,000 will face housing instability throughout the year. Among them are mothers, survivors, and children who are simply trying to rebuild their sense of normalcy and self-worth.

Since 2021, homelessness in our community has risen by 36%, with a heartbreaking 79% increase among youth under 18. These aren’t just numbers — they represent lives, dreams, and untold stories of resilience.

At She Shines Again Project, we step into those stories with hope. Through beauty, self-care, and empowerment experiences, we remind women and children that their light is still within them — and that healing begins the moment they feel seen, valued, and loved.
